The Social Computing Group at QCRI brought together leading organizations and researchers in the field of data science for the Artificial Intelligence for Collective Intelligence (AI4CI) workshop. The workshop was held between 12-14 June in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Accelerator Labs and UNDP Innovation in the Arab States. The workshop comes as an effort towards UNDP’s efforts to benefit from Collective Intelligence (CI) in achieving sustainable development. The workshop focused on improving the capabilities of UNDP Accelerator Labs in applying AI and data science to address developmental challenges on national level. Dr. Firoj Alam presented how Tanbih tools (https://tanbih.org/) can be used to analyze social media content.
